Ms. Murphy

Our counseling program includes teaching monthly guidance lessons in homeroom classrooms, individual counseling for up to 6 sessions per student, and group counseling as needed for acute situations.  Services are short-term to provide support for life stressor events, behavior modification, social skills, anger management, new student acclimation, and emotional distress. Our counselor is available to recommend referrals to community agencies as needed.

Social-emotional learning (SEL) is the process of developing self-awareness, self-control, and interpersonal skills that are vital for school, work, and life success.  iLead provides research-based lessons for grades K-6 in the areas of social & emotional learning curricula and professional learning services that positively impact lives.  For more information, please visit the iLead website.
