Library

Our library program is supported by our library assistants, Norma Ramirez and Dawn Tryson.  It is a welcoming environment where students and staff explore possibilities!  The library program fosters lifelong reading, literacy, literary interests, and independent thinking.  Students check out books with their class weekly but may also stop by the library anytime during the school day to exchange books outside of their normal library time.  Students may place "holds" on books that are checked out by other patrons. When the book is returned, it will be set aside, and the student will be notified that the book is available to check out.

Books are considered overdue after two weeks from the day they were checked out.  If a student loses or damages a book, it must be paid for.  All fines are used to replace the lost or damaged book.  Our library staff also support our one-to-one technology.  If a student loses or damages a chromebook or iPad, it must be paid for.  All fines are used to repair or replace the damaged technology.
